The Logans Ferry Regulators are honored to host the first Pennsylvania State SASS/WBAS Wild Bunch Championship. We plan to make it an enjoyable and memorable experience for all.
The Shoot Little things can make a big difference in conducting a match, whether it’s a monthly, state, regional, or national, and we plan to treat this match with the highest level of organization and detail possible. Some highlights of what you can expect: Þ Match will be one day, six stages, and Total Time scored. Awards soon after the match is finished. Þ Stages will be designed to be fun and fast! Few, if any stages will be “stand & deliver.” Expect movement in all scenarios. Þ Stages will be designed to minimize lost brass. Þ Targets will be placed at SASS/WBAS minimums, except where safety is compromised. Þ There will be a mix of target sizes, from life size to smaller knockdowns, but distances will compliment the target sizes. Þ We plan to touch up targets between shooters so there’s easier and more accurate spotting. Targets will be black with white outline to provide better visibility. The Venue Logans Ferry Sportsmen's Club is located approximately 20 miles east of the city Pittsburgh, conveniently located, easy to find, lodging close by. The shooting and parking areas are flat! Parking is very close to the shooting bays, so it's only a short drag of the Gun Cart. Most of the shooting bays used for this event have a granulated limestone base that absorbs water, and makes brass picking fast and easy…plus it's easy on the legs. Some shooting bays have pavilions, and those that don't will have portable covers, in the event of bad weather, but we've requested clear skies with 60-70 degree weather! Restrooms at the shooting areas are Port a John's, but the main Clubhouse with full facilities is only a short distance away. At the shooting range, we have a fully equipped kitchen with hot & cold running water.
